A quick overview:
It covers a great range of English uses and teaching material that I found insightful for my status quo and also for me to teach English in a genuine and fun way in the future. Take this 'emaling articles' page as an example:
| TEFLtastic - emailing articles |
As I typed in 'email' in the searching box, this is what I got - A page offering both practical and fun information about emailing!
This page will direct you to either original articles and well-written articles on other website - both are easy to access and download!
Among these blog posts I found this 'Cultural differences in emailing' and 'Can emailing really be fun?' quite engaging, like a bonus that I would be interested to listen to when I was a student learning how to write an email (though I would not say I've matered the basic of emailing). I feel kind of unfair when I was not taught in school what email is really like before suddenly I'm asked to produce decent emails that are just crutial to mt self-image or future career! Reading more posts like this can (hopefully) make me a more confident email user.
Latest and greatest on TEFLtastic (excuse me for losing my temper). Seeing the abundance of content in this blog once again reminded me that learning English is not like picking items out of neatly categorised drawers; it's more like picking shells scatterd all over the beach.
I learned how to set up the basics of my blog from this video. Come and have a look!
Your picture layout is very distinctive! They are alternating left and right, with a dynamic feeling!
ReplyDeleteHi Zhitong
ReplyDeleteI really love this first post of yours because your character comes through strongly as someone with strong opinions and a lot of enthusiasm! The design is great - really visual (practising what you preach!) with pictures each side so nicely balanced. Another really great feature (which could be your USP if you keep it up consistently) is the quick overview with ratings - good for the person who is quickly browsing to get an idea of the content in advance. You've shown some advanced skills already such as embedding a video - well done. Keep up the great work - I look forward to reading all your posts in April!
I love the way that you present a quick overview which helps readers grasp the key point at first glance!
